  • 5 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup blackberry filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blackberry filling by cooking blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and warm water until thickened. Let it cool.
  2. Activate yeast by mixing it with warm water and sugar; let it froth.
  3. In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine warm milk, melted butter, Greek yogurt, egg, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and pudding mix.
  4. Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms; knead for about 5–7 minutes.
  5. Allow dough to rise in a greased bowl until doubled (about 60 minutes).
  6. Roll out the dough and spread softened butter for the cinnamon filling over it. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
  7. Spread cooled blackberry filling, roll tightly into a log, slice into pieces, place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again (30–45 minutes).
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden.
  9. For frosting: Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth; add corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and powdered sugar until creamy.
