  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 48 ounces white chocolate almond bark
  • 6 ounces red candy melts
  • 24 popsicle sticks
  • Cakesicle mold

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs and mix with softened cream cheese until a dough-like consistency forms.
  5. Press about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into each section of the cakesicle mold and insert popsicle sticks.
  6. Freeze for 10 minutes to set.
  7. Melt white chocolate almond bark and dip each cakesicle to coat completely; place on parchment paper to harden.
  8. Melt red candy melts and flick over each cakesicle for the blood splatter effect.
