  • 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 chocolate ice cream cones
  • 2 cups (300g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • Green food coloring
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with granulated sugar in a large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in another bowl. Gradually combine this mixture with the wet ingredients until just blended.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let cool on a wire rack.
  5. Prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and green food coloring until smooth.
  6. Once cooled, frost each brownie generously. Top with an upside-down chocolate cone and decorate with sprinkles.
